Lukusuzi National Park is situated in the eastern region of the Luangwa
Valley, in the eastern watershed region of the valley. Most of the
park consists of plateau with dominant miombo vegetation. Like Luambe,
this park is one of the less visited in the Luangwa Valley.
Wildlife: Like in other parts of Luangwa, this park is excellent
for viewings of elephant, buffalo, many varieties of antelope and
of course, birdlife. A special feature, is that there are healthy
populations of Wild Dog, one of the most threatened animals.
