Permanent Safari Lodges
The Luangwa Valley is very much a weather-dependent location, with
most camps closing down during the rainy season, to rebuild during
the drier months.
There are however, a couple of permanent lodges that stay open year
round for those guests who do want to come during the green season,
which is particularly good for birdwatching. These lodges are often
bigger, more established camps that have a long history in the Luangwa
Valley.
