Etosha is known as one of the great game reserves of Africa. The reserve
sprawls over 22 000km² of sparse landscape around a great, dried
up salt pan at its centre. Spotting the plentiful game is easy. Endangered
animals that are protected here include the Damara Dik Dik and the
Roan Antelope. Etosha is home to over 100 mammal species and 340 different
species of birds.
